Globally, two trends are visibly developing and shaping recruiting:
Labour shortage of qualified applicants for specific jobs is hitting employers hard
Online recruiting is evolving quicker than hiring and recruiting practises
Studies have shown people between the ages of 18 to 49 use online methods to look for jobs, yet the majority of organizations haven’t adjusted to this reality
As an example the 2006 Manpower Global Survey indicated the Japan ranks 3rd overall in the world at having the most difficulty finding the right people to fill jobs
